Lee Ann Dangelo

Lee Ann Dangelo is a healthcare professional with a history of success in leadership, change management, project management and practice administration. She has served at an Executive level as an administrator at several practices in various specialties. Additionally, she works diligently to communicate common goals of those in patient care and provides the highest level of service. Prior to joining VantagePoint, Lee Ann ran a successful healthcare consulting business servicing medical practices, physical therapy practices, and health systems.
Lee Ann utilizes her skills as an innovative thinker to increase profits, surpass operating goals, resolve conflict, and improve staff morale. Her hands-on expertise includes strategic planning, workflow re-engineering and leadership coaching. She excels at developing collaborative relationships with colleagues, providers, patients, and staff.
Lee Ann received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Hartford. She received her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut, with a concentration in Healthcare Management and Accounting. She is a Certified Medical Practice Executive and has completed training in Six Sigma at the Green Belt level for Healthcare. She is a founding member of Women Executives in Healthcare, a not-for-profit organization in Connecticut. Lee Ann is a triathlete and avid cyclist. She is certified in Spinning®.
Donna comes to OptumInsight with 18+ years of health care experience with a focus on business process improvement, change management, and quality outcomes that reduce expenses, increase sales, and exceed customer expectations.
Her depth of knowledge in the health care environment was developed through several years of NCQA accreditation experience, and HEDIS and CAHPS improvements that impact STAR ratings. In addition, she was responsible for regulatory compliance, state audits and market conduct exams for five states and managed an 85,000 NE regional provider network credentialing organization.
Donna joined UHG in the Six Sigma Black Belt program, and managed multiple projects in the finance and human capital area as well as regulatory to eliminate the root cause of defects. She has advanced her regulatory experience with an operations role in Community and State supporting the Medicaid environment.
In addition to health care, Donna has applied her change and project management skills in the finance and human capital areas in the chemical, consumer products, and aerospace industries. She has focused her knowledge of workflow, lean, and Six Sigma theory and tools to creatively improve productivity and achieve organizational goals through change that positively impacts the bottom line.
Her strong focus on the voice of the customer is delivered in her outcomes as well as in quality training programs delivered externally and internally to transaction environments such as claim processing organizations, customer service organizations, and project teams.
Donna is collaborative in her approach, takes a wide view of requirements, and greatly values subject matter experts. She solicits feedback on solutions to minimize issues and risks to a project in advance of implementation.
She has worked externally with National Account Customers to implement an IRG program impacting ~160,000 members, the Optum Payment Integrity Organization in a Change Management Capacity for Fraud Waste and Abuse and externally is assigned to the Mass State Health Exchange remediation.
Eastern Connecticut Health Network
Kathy has been a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of Connecticut for more than seven years. Currently she is responsible for running Woodlake at Tolland, a 130-bed skilled nursing home and short-term rehabilitation facility in Tolland, CT. Woodlake is a part of the Eastern Connecticut Health Network system. Kathy is also a Leadership Coach for Connecticut/Rhode Island LeadingAge Leadership Academy.
Prior to joining Woodlake at Tolland, Kathy spent 14 years at Hebrew Health Care, where she was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. At Hebrew Health Care, Kathy was responsible for a constellation of services, including a a 277-bed skilled nursing community inclusive of a 25-bed, short-term rehabilitation unit, a 23-bed medical complex and 22-bed behavior health hospital units, a 206-unit assisted living community, adult day services, a home health care agency, hospice, and an assisted living services agency.
Kathy received her MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix and was a LeadingAge Leadership Academy Fellow in Washington, DC. She also holds a BS degree in Journalism, with a concentration in Communications, from Southern Connecticut State University, along with a Certificate in Human Resources from Post College. She is a member of several executive boards related to eldercare, including past Chairperson and current member of Qualidigm Board of Directors.
Soundview Medical Associates
Eileen was hired by Soundview Medical Associates in 1998 by the seven original physicians, all solo physicians, to help form the group. She organized and facilitated five separate locations, and then moved them into the first location at 520 West Avenue, Norwalk. This group grew in fourteen years from seven physicians to 24 physicians and 3 mid-level providers. When Soundview Medical outgrew the West Avenue location, Eileen once again facilitated the move into our current location at iPark on Main Avenue, Norwalk, and we have expanded into New Canaan and Darien. The Norwalk location hosts 43 exam rooms, digital XRay, Laboratory, Cardiac testing, Pulmonary Testing, Thyroid Ultrasound, Osteoporosis testing, Smart Pill, and infusion center. Soundview is open seven days a week, weekdays until 8pm. In addition, Soundview has purchased Allscripts Electronic Health Records, and has implemented a patient portal that allows patients to schedule appointments, check lab results, and have access to their records. Soundview has qualified for “meaningful use” in 2011, and expects the same for 2012. In September of 2012 Soundview achieved NCQA’s highest level 3 for “patient centered medical home”.

Deb Erickson is currently an independent consultant for ProHealth Physicians in the Human Resources Department currently primarily handling talent acquisition as ProHealth continues to experience much growth in Connecticut. ProHealth Physicians is Connecticut’s leading primary care physician organization. This family of primary care doctors and specialists cares for more than 360,000 people statewide.
Prior to ProHealth Physicians, Deb was the Director of Talent Acquisition and Management, Leadership Development and Employee Relations for ConnectiCare, a subsidiary of EmblemHealth. Deb’s responsibilities at ConnectiCare were to develop strategies & provide direction to the organization in the areas of talent acquisition and management, leadership and organizational development and employee relations. She provides leadership to HR Business Partners and staffing consultants and designated administrative staff to successfully achieve the goals of the business.
Deb also worked as the Service Center Head/Director Human Resources at Mass Mutual where she was the strategic business partner responsible for the overall recruiting and employee relations activities for the Information System Organization and the Investment Management Division.
Before accepting a position at MassMutual, Deb worked for Travelers Insurance Companies for almost 16 years in various successive human resources roles within the Investment Group finishing her tenure there in the role of Director Human Resources reporting into the Chief Investment Officer in New York City.
Deb has a degree in Horticulture from the University of Connecticut. She is the Vice President for Women Executives in Healthcare, immediate past CT State Director for the Society of Human Resources and sits on several other boards including the Connecticut Business Leadership Network (CTBLN). She is past President for the Staffing Management Association of Southern New England and a former board member to the CareerBuilder Advisory Board.

Donna McCarty is the Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at J. Morrissey & Company, Inc. Established in 1986, J. Morrissey is a full-service executive search, staffing and consulting firm specializing in healthcare, accounting and finance, information technology and office support. Their service lines include retained search, contingency search, staffing services, contract staffing, and consulting. J. Morrissey has offices in Windsor CT and Springfield MA.
Donna founded J. Morrissey’s healthcare practice in 1992, which has grown to provide executive search and recruitment services to all healthcare environments, both clinical and non-clinical. Donna has over thirty years of experience in the healthcare industry within Connecticut and nationally. During that time, Donna was associated with area hospitals, a health maintenance organization and a national home infusion therapy company. In these settings, she held financial and administrative positions.
Donna’s community involvement included serving two terms as board chair of Prevent Blindness Connecticut. She was their 1998 recipient of the Robert and Joyce Polk Award for distinguished service, and the 2001 recipient of the Cincinatus Award for outstanding service and dedication. She is the past president and founder of the Greater Hartford Chapter of the Quinnipiac University Alumni Association and was a member of the Quinnipiac University National Alumni Board of Governors for eighteen years. Donna is a past president of the Connecticut Women in Health Care Management, served on the UCONN Health Care Management Advisory Board and The Hartford Courant CareerbuilderRx Advisory Board. Most recently, she was co-chair for Relay For Life in Plainville, CT from 2008-2010. Currently Donna is the president of Women Executives in Healthcare.
Donna is a 1990 cum laude graduate of Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Management. She was the 1994 recipient of the first Quinnipiac University Career Services Outstanding Alumni Award.
Lee Hecht Harrison
Linda is Vice President of Business Development at Lee Hecht Harrison. LHH assists organizations in supporting restructuring efforts, developing leaders at all levels, engaging and retaining critical talent and maintaining productivity through change – helping organizations maximize their return on investment in developing people while assisting individuals to achieve their full potential.
Prior to joining LHH, Linda was the VP of Human Resources and Public Relations for AAA in the Greater Hartford, Cincinnati and Kansas regions where her responsibilities included enterprise-wide initiatives from policy development, performance management and compensation strategies to media relations and internal/external communications.
Linda is a founding member of Women Executive in Healthcare; a member of the Southern New England Chapter of the Human Resources Leadership Forum; a member of the Human Resources Association of Central CT and the Human Resources Leadership Association, the local chapters of SHRM; She is past president of the University of New Haven’s Alumni Association; and a member of the Hartford Chorale.
She has her MBA from the University of New Haven and her Bachelor of Music degree from Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford.

Susan Prior is President & Chief Operating Officer of VantagePoint. As a Partner at VantagePoint for the past fifteen years, Ms. Prior has full management and strategic responsibility for oversight of VantagePoint’s daily operations and business development.
Over her twenty year career in healthcare, Ms. Prior has served as a Director for a nationally recognized chain of nutrition centers and in executive positions in various academic hospital systems, medical practices, and practice management companies.
Ms. Prior’s diverse background and experience allows her to assist clients with strategic planning, revenue cycle management, contract negotiation, business analytics, and operational re-design. She works with a variety of clients including private practices, integrated healthcare delivery systems, ASCs, and LTACs. She is intently focused on the challenges faced by hospital-based medical groups from operational, reimbursement, and regulatory perspectives, helping develop strategies for their long-term success.
Certified in healthcare compliance, Ms. Prior also works with clients to develop risk mitigation strategies and with attorneys to provide consultative assistance on a variety of fraud and abuse matters. She has completed several projects involving work with Medicare, Medicaid, private payers, the OIG and the FBI.
Ms. Prior’s commitment to providing superior service to her clients is evidenced in the long-term relationships that VantagePoint has enjoyed for many years. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, is a founding member of Women Executives in HealthCare, serves as the VP of Membership of the Health Financial Management Association (Connecticut chapter), and is currently on our Board of the Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives.
Qualitas Healthcare Consultant Services
Rose Stamilio is a consultant at Qualidigm, a national recognized consulting and research company and the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for Connecticut. Her expertise centers around over 30 years of healthcare experience in care coordination, case management, community outreach, managed care physician relations, and quality improvement.
Prior to joining Qualidigm, she was the Director of Care Coordination and Physician Recognition Programs at Saint Francis HealthCare Partners (SFHCP) in Hartford, CT. Rose directed the Care Coordination Program and led the successful implementation and ongoing evaluation of National Commission of Quality Assurance (NCQA) physician recognition activities for physician members of SFHCP.
Rose also worked for Hospital for Special Care as Corporate Director of Admissions/Case Management and the Hospital of Central Connecticut at New Britain and Bradley in Critical Care and Nursing Supervision.
Rose received a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Central Connecticut State University and a Masters in Nursing Administration from the University of Hartford. She is a National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Content Expert and is certified in Population Management from Jefferson College of Population Health.
In addition to serving as Secretary for the Board of Directors for Women Executives in Healthcare, Rose who comes from Spain, is an active member of the Spanish-American Cultural Club in Berlin, past Board of Trustee for the Catholic Charities Archdiocese, and a Stephen Minister for Saint Dominic’s Parish in Southington, CT.
